FAQ
Is there a contract or time commitment with my membership?
A member’s pace is largely content-driven. AFB isn’t a stand-alone curriculum – the AFB lessons are designed to be done while a student is at the same time involved with that student’s regular elementary math program.
Because of how we teach algebra, a student will benefit so much from literally being able “to sleep on” what’s been seen and done and heard in the lessons! A student’s mind needs time to let the content, the methodology, the wording, and the hands-on experience of AFB seep into the mind and be processed and integrated with the regular arithmetic-based math that’s being learned (or has already been learned).
This is why the lessons are released at the rate of about two lessons per week. At that pace, a student could finish their AFB lessons as quickly as about 5 or 6 months. Some members stay longer in order to review and re-screen videos and/or concepts, procedures, and worksheets.
How many children does my monthly membership cover?
One membership covers one child.
Can I enroll two children in different grade levels at the same time?
Yes. This would be two memberships, but you wouldn’t need to get two sets of materials.
How long will I have access to the content in the program?
You have access to the AFB content as long as you maintain your membership.
What happens if I have a question about a lesson that is not covered in the material?
Just send your question to us at info@AlgebraForKids.com.
Can I watch the videos more than once?
Yes. Your membership grants you access to the videos as many times as you wish.
Can I share my membership account with someone else?
No. That would be unethical and would violate the membership agreement.
